But to perform your own material especially if it's a good song that might have the opportunity to be performed by other artists (cover song) will allow royalties to continue getting you paid over the years to come |

We are definitely on a mission wanting all young people to understand the combination of good creative skills and business savvy. On that note: Sherry has created a new program that is targeted to the college age youth, titled: "The Connection Between Music and Spirituality", this program is currently being promoted to colleges and universities across the country. The program is designed to enlighten our children to their cultural as well as various musical histories. The Future is our children.

As we have mentioned before on this site, Ms. Scott is one of the most innovative Jazz and Tropical and Pop artists performing internationally. She is also very committed to innovative teaching in the school system. Ms. Scott is a consummate teacher having come up through the "ranks" so to speak. Learning early how important it was to have "elders" who were willing to pass the baton became the basis for many of the programs she has developed for students over the years. Sherry has nurtured and inspired many young people to learn and develop their musical and other creative skills.

| Being the mother of three girls and three boys, plus ten grand's and counting, Sherry's home was always filled with music food and children. Sherry began her work in the school system as a result of her own children volunteering her in their schools music activities. This led Sherry to begin development of musical interactive programs for various student age groups. |

| Ms. Scott has developed a special relationship with many of the hip-hop generations performers. They have chosen her to work with because of her interest in "listening" to their musical ideas and helping them build solid musical skills by incorporating their skills with the technical building blocks that are now available. The computer age has changed how an artist can approach the production of his or her music, something (thanks to her partner) Dwight Brewster (Webmaster and Developer) has helped her to understand. With him at the helm they have forged musical relationships with a lot of young writers who really want to learn the skill of good songwriting, an art sometimes loss on recent music generations. |
